It Is Our Time

Every industrialized country currently faces three major paradigm shifts: governments unable to care for their elderly, people living longer than ever before, and a transition from an industrial age to an information-knowledge age.  Many people believe the paradigms are negative and fail to plan; yet not planning is the true disaster.

As insurance and financial advisors, we have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the world.  No one is better prepared to deal with the consequences of these three paradigms because no one can ask the questions you have to ask to get prospects and clients motivated and ready to plan.  It is truly our time.

Through the second MDRT Web seminar, I recently had the opportunity to offer my insight into the three paradigms and share tips and ideas for getting prospects and clients emotionally involved.  I encourage you to visit the Web Seminar Archive to learn more, and please share your own views or questions by posting your comments to this Blog.

Van Mueller understands the issue on failure to plan for the future very well.

Over the last few decades, many have worked hard to provide for their families, children's education, etc. Many issues happened like family no stay together, spouse no longer the same one. Company no longer provide guaranteed retirement plans. Cost of living increase, etc.

Let's ask ourself, who dares to ask people around us about their future needs?

The answer is us, the insurance and financial advisors.

Although we have to face rejections, surely there are many who wish that we could provide some constructive recommendations to their future needs.

I believe those who serve the interests of their clients will benefit from this business.

Van Mueller said it, it's our time. I concurred that it is our harvest time. Though there are challenges threatening our business, however, I believe, if we do good for our clients, we will be rewarded.
