Effectively Marketing MDRT to Clients and Prospects

If you aren’t marketing yourself as an MDRT member, you are missing opportunities!

Some MDRT members don’t proactively promote their memberships to clients and prospects.  Many think that being part of a premier, sales-oriented organization like MDRT won’t matter to consumers, or might even be perceived negatively.

When positioned correctly, many aspects of MDRT membership are appealing to consumers. After all, MDRT membership:

  • Requires us to adhere to a strict Code of Ethics
  • Helps us continue to grow professionally and focus on providing top-notch client service
  • Provides a way for us to serve our community

Communicating these points can help you separate yourself from the competition.

MDRT has even developed a customizable PowerPoint module to help us do it. You can download it by clicking here.

Give marketing your MDRT membership a try. Then, help others do the same by sharing your experiences via comments to this Blog posting.

Jim, I totally agreed to promote the value of membership of MDRT to my prospects and clients.

I remembered when Tony Gordon asked the attendees who are MDRT members to stand up during the recent MDRT Experience in Bangkok, to me it is really a proud moment.

My Clients are proud of me and they are proud to mention it to their friends. Hence, that's the reason I got more leads from them.

Recently, I mentioned on our National News Paper on 25 Dec 2005 when I was interviewed. MDRT was the reference I have made for Standard of Excellent in our business. Especially, I am a qualifier of COT this year.

You've hit the nail on the head. Spot on! Marketing ones self no matter what the job is essential.

Publicising my MDRT membership has worked for me. It has added to my credibility.

As a writer in several publications on personal financial matters I insist they use my MDRT membership after my name.

I also insist this be used when introducing me on radio or at seminars.

I really enjoy the expressions on people's faces when they hear 'Million Dollar Round Table', first they are confused then impressed!

It's a great opportunity to tell them what MDRT is.
