Keeping Balance in Life

I’m living proof that it’s possible to have success.  Not just in your business, but in your life.  With only a high school diploma, I was able to accomplish a successful insurance business, have a wonderful family and give time to my community and church.  How is this possible?  I’m keeping balance in my life.

I created my own “don’t list” to help maintain balance and achieve my goals.  Hopefully, you will find this list to be helpful in your life:

·           Don’t undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.

·           Don’t let life slip through your fingers by living in the past or the future.

·           Don’t give up when you still have something to give.

·           Don’t be afraid to encounter risk.

·           Don’t be afraid to learn.

·           Don’t use time and words carelessly.

Remember life is not a race, but a journey to be savored.  Whether it’s your family, church, business or community, keep the balance in your life so you can achieve your dreams.

How do you maintain balance in all aspects of your life?  What is on your personal “don’t list?”

It is common for folks to think that they need to do more in order to be better/wiser. How wrong.

* Don't worry, results are controlled by the ONE and only.
* Don't think about work when at home, our loved ones deserve our best.
* Don't go to work when you are down, go do something that gets you up!
* Don't forget that you will die one day, so what's the fuss?
* Don't forget to thank God when you think it could not get any worse.
