I’ve learned plenty of lessons during my days as a producer. I’ve learned how to take chances and invest in myself and practice. I’ve learned how to be patient, appreciate my unique style and to be open to new challenges. I’ve also learned about rejection and how it’s only a part of the business.
Most importantly, I’ve learned how to be the best I can be. And I believe that is the most valuable lesson you can learn in this industry.
To survive and succeed in the long term in this business I had to make prospecting a habit and a natural activity. Then to support the prospecting habit I had to have a safety net and that is to have an effective prospecting system.
