Around the world this week, MDRT members are making a positive impact in their communities during MDRT’s Baby Boomer Retirement Preparedness Week (BBRPW).
MDRT members have always been united by a passion to serve our industry and communities, and it has been very gratifying to see members apply that same “can do” spirit to spreading the Boomertirement message to those in need of financial help.
But this must only be the beginning of our outreach to local Baby Boomers. Even if you’ve already conducted BBRPW activities, I encourage you to make Boomertirement a long-term, ongoing effort in your community.
Activities can be as simple as distributing a pre-written feature article to a local news publication, or as complex as hosting a series of educational events. But just like we’ve been telling the Baby Boomers themselves – Taking any action is better than doing nothing!
Visit the members section of the Boomertirement Web site for information and pre-packaged tools that can help you make a difference.
For those who conducted BBRPW efforts: Any inspiring stories to share? What can other MDRT members learn from your experience? How can MDRT make it even easier for members to spread the word in their communities?
