Focus on LIFE During Life Insurance Awareness Month

September marks Life Insurance Awareness Month, and a chance for MDRT members to re-evaluate their objectives and goals with their clients.  I know most MDRT members would agree that their productivity always increases when they have a clear picture of what they want to achieve.  If achieving growth in insurance sales is your goal, then focusing on LIFE may help you reach your objectives. 

 

The Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education (LIFE) is the educational arm of the financial services industry in the United States.  The organization’s Web site, http://www.life-line.org/ is an excellent resource for MDRT members to utilize while assisting their clients in making educated decisions about current products available to consumers.

 

The site contains material you can use at the point of sale or as inserts for your regular client communications.  LIFE also produces realLIFEstories, a DVD that contains a series of personal stories depicting the benefits of life insurance in real-life situations.  This has proven to be an effective and well-received tool by professionals when speaking to prospective clients.

 

Since life insurance may be one of the most important purchases your client will ever make, it is important that they feel fully informed about their decision.

 

As we celebrate Life Insurance Awareness Month this September, I encourage you to stay focused on your goals and help your clients by utilizing the industry resources available to you.

Dear Brian,

I met another MDRT member last night in Chicago, he was the chair for Ethics Committee of MDRT. He mentioned that Adviser makes a different by providing service to clients.

Your advice on keeping clients inform is an important service we can provide. This work need time and effort but it is worth it.

Dear Brian Ashe,
Nicest greetings to you. ohh...what a coincidence?
In India, Life Insurance Corporation of India, the public sector Life Insurance Organisation celebrated it s 51 st Insurance week celebration for one week from 1 st to 7 th September.

LIC of India was started on 1.9.1956. So from 1957 onwards, every year we celebrate Insurance week celebrations during 1st week of September all over India. LIC of India has crossed the mark of 22 crore Policies.

All the 2048 branches of LIC of India do a lot of awareness activities to spread the gospel of Life Insurance during this Insurance week.

On behalf of my team of agents, last year we organised a Blood group Identification/donation campaign, in which 300 people were provided with blood group ID card. 20 people donated blood.

This year my team organised public awareness meeting in two rural centres which was attended by more than 500 people.

All over India so many welfare activities were done during this week. Competitions were conducted for people of various levels, especially for school children...who are the future.
