Friends, Finance and the Future of Advice

MDRT Second Vice President Julian H. Good, Jr., CLU, ChFC

More and more everyday, social and digital media is having an impact on advisors.

I recently moderated the MDRT Web seminar, “Friends, Finance and the Future of Advice: Understanding How Aging Boomers Use Social Technologies,” which was presented by Dr. Joseph F. Coughlin, Ph.D., founder and director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology AgeLab.  From his extensive research, Joe shared his insight into understanding the behavior of the 45+ population, and the use of technology to enhance their lives, which in turn will assist advisors in relating to Baby Boomer clients.

Please share whether social technologies have assisted you in connecting with your senior clients.

I look forward to your insight and dialogue.  If you would like to view the Web seminar presentation, you may do so by visiting the Web Seminar Archive.
