The Top of the Table meeting was a great success, and the location of Kauai did not disappoint. We heard some outstanding presentations, and the ideas were flowing. I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Ray Clark, a one-year MDRT member and first-time meeting attendee from San Antonio, Texas. He told me that based on what he has learned from this single meeting, he regrets not attending for the 15 years he could have qualified.
My friend, 31-year MDRT member Chris Leach, from Cardiff, Wales, and also a first-time attendee, agreed. "I cannot believe I waited this long before attending this meeting. The quality of the presentations has given me the spring board to move to a higher level,” she said.
While I wish that Michael and Chris could have joined us these past several years and benefited from the experience, I am glad to hear that they found the content so valuable. I hope others who qualify, but who have not gone to the meeting, learn from Michael and Chris and join us at the 2010 Top of the Table Annual Meeting in Naples, Florida. For me, the knowledge gained is priceless. I have learned much and realize there is so much more to learn.
