It is my privilege to invite you to join a growing number of MDRT members who have chosen to become financial advocates by participating in the AALU, MDRT, NAIFA and LIFE Financial Literacy Program in partnership with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
We have all heard and seen the growing evidence that very few Americans have any financial acumen or financial wisdom. This is contributing to our economic burdens as a country and is a national tragedy. People may know how to make money, but they have no idea how to save it and even fewer know how to invest it. In fact, the chronicled lack of preparation of most Baby Boomers is expected to be a financial tsunami that will place significant pressure on our government social services and healthcare systems in the future.
Are there any ways that you, as a member of MDRT, can help solve this problem? Who is going to educate the next generations about how to solve their wealth accumulation problems? Who is going to bring financial knowledge and clarity to the younger generations? Who is going to help them avoid the retirement underfunding that will likely swamp their parents and grandparents?
There are a myriad of proposed solutions directed at this problem. In fact, many Web sites and good curriculum are aimed at solving the financial literacy problem. But there is one major aspect missing an active delivery system to bring it to the public and, this is where you can be a major player!!!
MDRT, AALU, NAIFA and LIFE have been working together to mobilize the best foot soldiers in the country you, our members to deliver financial education across America. This is what you do every day with your own clients and it is how you have established yourself as one of the leading financial professionals in the country.
